I am interested in persuing a undergrad in Biology. Is there anyone out there who is doing this? I am also interested in Evolution & Ecology. I am not wanting to go into the medical field...but grad school in Wildlife Ecology. The only thing I am worried about is how difficult the undergrad math/science will be..even though its something I like (the bio part).

It is by no means easy. Ive only taken the basic courses so far (bio, chem, and calc). Bio isnt to bad, just a lot of memorization. Chem as well isnt too bad but harder than bio. Cacl was somewhat of a butt kicker, but the community college I go to only offered a harder squence geared toward engineer majors ( 9 credits instead of 6 for the year) where as the school Im transferring to offers an easier version for bio majors.

My GPA so far is a 3.8, probably drop to 3.7 after this semester. I by no means am a genius I just study hard as I pretty much have the same career goals as you do.

So i have to get a Bachelors in Biology before i can go into my major but talking to some friends who are majoring in Biology they say it is easy as long as you enjoy what you are learning… and do your work of course
