Biology SAT II POST-EXAM discussion!

Haha, what?!

If you took the E, you won't have some of the questions on the list. 49 and 50 might've been on M, these aren't in order.

EDIT: In fact, now that I look at 49 and 50, those were most definitely on the M section.

Generally speaking, how many more questions on the list are we missing?

It's hard to tell, but I'd say at most a couple.

heh, the list isn't in the test order; it's in the order people remembered them... so yah, 49 and 50 are from the M section (in fact, the very end section).

I think I'm hoping for above a 700. I'll be happy with that

There are 7 I know I got wrong, and room for one or two possible others. No omits. What am I up for, a 750-780?

I know I got at least 5 wrong and I skipped 3, so right now I'm doing pretty well...

Actually, I could feasibly have an 800, but I really seriously doubt that

I actually couldn't really, but I think I probably got upper 700s pretty easily....I hope, that is

lol, on the sparknotes message board, one guy was arguing about the 30,000 protein- 30,000 genes question.

and brought this up....
http://www.genomenewsnetwork.org/articles/05_03/junk.shtml

haha, the question might be canceled. Though I omitted that question anyways.

i got 4 wrong and skipped 2... that's a 790-780 right?

or maybe even a 800.

Yah, but i the context of the question, it was simply hypothetical. If you reviewed, most books told you that genes=proteins

but you can always argue to CB :p . but I omitted that one so I don't care! it was just that this one guy was arguing on and on, and i thought it was interesting...

I think I saw it too....although it still seems sort of silly to argue facts that are obviously true...

yay, so its not only me that goes to 2 message boards to see how he/she did on an achievement test lol!

Just for the fact of knowing, if any of you could go back in time, would you have switched from E to M, or vice versa?

I think I wish I had done M at first, but since that curve is slightly higher I'll probably end up with the same grade

Well I got two wrong on the M section at least, and I don't know what I would have gotten on E, probably less than that, so I guess I wish I took E, but not really.

wow you guys are optimistic. I know I got at least 3 wrong. Didn't skip any. So thats an 800? No way...
