Hi everyone,
I really liked my visit to Kenyon, but my parents (mostly my parents) and I are concerned about the strength of the science program...I want to be a molecular biology major (emphasis on molecular), but I know Kenyon is mostly known for its humanities programs, and its biology program is practically non-existent?
Any information would be really helpful, thanks!!

Go to front page of website and see kid who is going to Ph.D program at Johns Hopkins, and watch the DVD video of the science kids moving on to top-ranked grad/med school programs, including MD/Ph.D at JHU.

Correction: The kid on front of website was accepted to MD./Ph.D programs at Yale and JHU…full scholarship offers. He majored in Chemistry at Kenyon.

I’m Pre-med, and your worries are both legitimate and unfounded. The science program here is fantastic. One of the really cool things about the science classes here is that they’re pretty small, even the intro levels only sit 30 (as opposed to 300 at some bigger schools). My most challenging classes are in the sciences.
