Here is my overall situation right now...

I'm deciding between Carnegie Mellon and Rutgers New Brunswick...

There pros and cons are below...

CMU:
better education IMO than Rutgers, Equivalent social life, has all the "little perks" I want (internet, gym, pool etc.)
Has a 5 yr MBA option
Nice People
Nice City
COST=30,000

RutgersNB:
Not as well known, but still in the top 50 engineering schools says USNEWS
I have been told by a PhD that their bio is good, and they are currently building a brand new BioMed building that is relatively huge
equivalent social life to CMU, with similar "perks"
Has good food too apparently
People seemed ok, but school is larger, so I fear less "reachable" faculty and counselors.
Also has a 5 yr MBA potential
COST=15,000

NO MATTER WHERE I end up going... I plan to work my @$$ off cuz I will get my MBA, and then hopefully apply to grad school in Cal, UCSD, or Stanford. I know that getting into these big name schools is easier from CMU, but is it worth the extra debt? If I can get mom and dad to cover at least 15-20 thousand a year, then i think i will go to CMU with the rest of the debt in my name... If I can't get them to do that, I dont feel comfortable putting 30,000 dollars in debt per year in my name. Thats a lot of money when I'm going to grad school anyway. But am i risking not getting into "big names" cuz I'm coming from Rutgers NB?
