Biomed vs Chem & Biomolecular engineering

<p>What are the differences in biomedical eng. and chemical and biomolecular eng.? </p>

<p>Are there any advantages or disadvantages of one over the other when it comes to research, publications, and job placement? </p>

<p>Also, will either be okay to do if I want to have a career as a medical scientist (or would biochemistry be suffice)?</p>

<p>Would it be bad to do biochemistry over the biomedical and chemical engineering, since I would not be getting the engineering aspects that would be good in a medical research field?</p>
