So I know boston’s BME program is pretty prestigious since its top ten. However in reality, is it hard to get accepted into the program and is the program itself very rigorous?

It is harder to get into the engineering school then the rest of the school that is true, but in terms of getting into the BME program verses other engineering programs at BU its the exact same. The stats for engineers are normally a little better then then stats for BU itself but not completely different. The program itself is difficult (I am not going to lie to you), but it is also challenging in a good way. The hardest classes you will take your freshman and sophomore years are going to be general chemistry and engineering physics. No matter what though those classes are going to be challenging anywhere. I personally love the BME program at BU because of the amount of flexibility we have in our upperclassmen years on the electives we want to take. :)
