@falesafe when did u get ur Duke invite and when is it scheduled ?? Any idea how many students they might interview on March ?? I haven’t got any info from them yet…

@falesafe when did you receive notification from mit? and was it the be program? im waiting to hear back from them :/

invited to Duke 1/21, the visit was on 1/29; its about 10 students for each visit day so prob ~10 this month then ~10 more in March

notification from MIT this past Saturday, it was the MEMP program

I applied to MIT BE too. I think all the interview invites have already been sent. Expecting a rejection.

Does anyone know which of the two schools UC Davis or Uc Irvine is better for biomedical engineering?

I received an invitation to UCLA Open House on March, 5th. Dunno what that’s supposed to mean, cause they mentioned nothing regarding admission decision nor funding…Anyway, I’m not in the US so 99% I’m not gonna make it to the Open House :-|

@round2 Wow! Congrats.

I was wondering has anyone got back from UPenn?

i know my friend got interview invitation from upenn… and i called them like a week ago, they said the interview invites have been sent out

Has anyone else been invited to UCLA Open House?
I emailed them to ask and was replied that attendance is not required for admission. I’m not sure what the main purpose of such open house is, but suppose this is some positive news…

has anyone heard from georgia tech???

My son was accepted by Cornell MEng. on 1/8, and was notified of passing graduate school evaluation and app was sent to BME in late Jan.

He applied BMEs:
Columbia (MS leading to PhD)
Cornall (MEng.)
NW (PhD)
UIUC (PhD)
Georgia Tech
UW Seattle (PhD)
UW Madison (MEng.)
CWRU (PhD)

Update:

I had a phone interview with Duke about 2 weeks ago, and yesterday I was invited to their visit/interview weekend in two weeks. They’re having another interview weekend the last weekend in March, also.

I’m still waiting to hear back from:

BU (BME) – got an email 2 days ago saying my application was (finally) sent to the dept.
Cornell (BME) – got an email on 2/1 saying my app was sent to the dept.
Columbia (BME)
MIT (BE)
Johns Hopkins (Chem and Biomolecular Eng) – called and asked about my app’s status on 2/4, and they said that it hadn’t been looked at yet. also, they said it could take through the end of feb/early march!

@lpolstein I’m still waiting on JHU’s ChBE program as well. I also know a friend who was already accepted, but they submitted their app a month or so before mine (I waited until the week of the due date). I’m curious, when did you send in yours that it is taking them so long to look at it?

Yea, I have a friend that was already accepted, too (and they sent him the letter by mail to his house back home, not his apt at school, which is weird). I think he submitted it about a month early too…I submitted mine the week it was due also, so I guess that’s why we’re still waiting!

Hey everyone. I haven’t really posted much but I was wondering if anyone knew about the status of MIT BE and U Wash BE. I know it is getting late, but I was wondering if anyone has heard if all interviews have been sent yet?

OMG. I just received an acceptance letter from Cornell BME.

omg congratz hhhcce!!! how did you get the letter? email or postal? are you in the US?

Email. I submitted my application on the day before the deadline. Nope. I am from Canada.

i received an interview invitation by email last friday for georgia tech. the weekend is march 26-28.

@hhhcce Congratulations… Did anyone else receive any news from Cornell ??
