<p>The career center at RPI has been guiding my child, and so far the advice has been to send out resumes to companies through their websites. This seems to be a big black hole. Does anyone in this field have better advice. He has been networking as best he can, has a great GPA, is an athlete and has done research in the field. Any advice on companies/hospitals/universities that may have a good reputation for hiring new grads would be appreciated. It is a growing field, from what I understand, but the job market seems to still be tough to get a start in. Thanks for the help.</p>
