Biomedical sciences/public health health schools???

wat r some good schools w/ these majors or similar ones? thanx 4 the help =]]

Well, you're going to have to give more information than that. What are your stats? What are you looking for in a college, exactly?

Johns Hopkins and Emory are the best among the elites for public health.

Isn't Public Health a graduate program at most universities, including Emory and JHU?

JHU has the #1 ranked BME for undergraduate and graduate. It is also the undisputed #1 public health graduate school. Public health undergraduate is not ranked, but they do have a public health studies program (major?) for undergraduates.

Sounds like the perfect you school that you are looking for.

Yes, public health is usually a graduate (MPH) field. Hopkins is one of the few universities to offer it as a major.

Emory is at least as good a choice (if not better) due to the extremely close ties between the university and the neighboring CDC, although Emory lacks a public health major. Research/internship opportunities are readily available, even at the undergraduate level.

Look into Tulane Undergraduate Public Health Program at Tulane University

Rochester has a Health and Society undergrad major.

Penn has some great options for a very strong applicant. One can major in Health and Societies which is a history/social science view of health care in America. Health and Societies

One could also look to go to Wharton and concentrate in Health Care Management.

A super competitive applicant should look at the LSM program Life Sciences and Management at the University of Pennsylvania
This program would allow you to major in biology/biochemistry/biological basis of behavior along with business (concentrations in management or health care management would be of interest).
