I will be coming into undergrad having completed these college courses:
-Physics 1&2
-Calc 1-3
-Bio 1&2
-Eng 1&2 (maybe, it's an AP course)

With these general courses out of the way, will it still be near impossible to do Music Performance (Jazz) and Biophysics? (I was thinking Biomed Engineering, but was discouraged from the lack of flexibility of the course load)

I realize it may have to be done in 5 years, but can I still maintain a high GPA?

If anyone has done two vastly different majors as a premed before, it would be nice to hear your experience/advice

Thanks

Performance is time consuming. Rely on your time management skills. D. graduated with Music Composition minor. This minor was very easy. She did not want performance because of time limitations. But, I bet others do it. D. has tried club sport for whole freshman year, it was too much, so she dropped it. Also dropped one of her minors just 2 classes short of completion. You do what you have to do, but it does not hurt to try. One of D’s pre-med friends graduated with triple majors in 4 years and currently is at Med. School. 2 were related but totally unrelated to her Zoology main pre-med major.
Try, see how it feels, change if it does not work. Nothing is cut in stone.

It’s possible, but difficult. One of D1’s med school classmates graduated (in 4 years) with a double major in music composition and performance (Jazz/Bluegrass) and minor in biochem.
