<p>Actually, it’s easier to get accepted as a guy than a girl. A significantly larger number of girls apply for spots at Ivies than boys.</p>
<p>^ I remember hearing/reading years ago, that stats of females accepted to college are higher than those of males. Hense, it is supposed to be “easier” for males to gain acceptances. Sorry I can’t provide the source but it surprised me and made an impression.</p>
