<p>I was at some FRAT party at a frat house during orientation and we went to update our ipod playlist and add songs and the person had a p2p program (not limewire) that he said almost everyone in the school uses. And indeed there were hundreds of results after each of my searches... don't remember the name.. but I'm also interested in an actual answer to this question...</p>

<p>Most people use my mytunes. Itunes has a feature that allows you to stream music across a network, and mytunes is a software hack that can save the streamed audio. If you want to get movies/tv shows, you'll have to resort to alternate methods.</p>
<p>^^ MyTunes only worked for versions of itunes before 4.7. Now they are up to 6.0.5 and older versions dont support the ipod video so i dont know how people used that.</p>
