<p>1) The title of the weekend.
2) Self-segregation.</p>

<p>Funny you should mention that. I was just coming back to edit my post. I am paying an un-Godly amount of money for her to be at a school where her education can include some social opportunities she’s never had before. Now she can choose.</p>
<p>I went last year for a night i had prom that weekend so I couldn’t stay for the 3 or 4 nights. The plan a lot of fun and informative activities. I still talk to some people i met that day…there’s so few of us here that you’ll begin to recognise every black person on campus after a while lol!</p>
<p>i justed wanted who else was going. i know the title is a little off when i first saw it. lolo but i think they just want to welcome the new black students to the campus. my friend is mexican and she got invited to something like this but is was raza day. lol</p>
<p>what sorta annoys me is that, even though I’m half African-American and half Mexican, I get invited to the Black Admit Week, yet not to the Hispanic equivalent to it. Even one of my personal statements was about how I don’t like being categorized. I’m either both or none. I’m probably overeacting, but that gets to me a little. Especially since I’ve been raised by my Mexican mother only since I was three. Well it doesn’t matter anyway, I’ll be in Europe that week.</p>

And secondly its cuse the committe for them sucks. They have no sense of direction or organization. So its just them being lazy and not getting their **** together.</p>
<p>Yeah, from what I understand, there are admit activities hosted by various ethnic campus orgs that weekend. </p>

<p>I did hear back from transportation, they said i can travel by either train or plane and that they were going to call me back to confirmed. I am still waiting forthem to call me back.</p>
