hey guys just a quick question:

If i have a 3.5 UW gpa with the hardest classes (5 AP's) school offers 6, but then i get a 2250 on my SAT does it make up for my 3.5 UW ?

I also attend Whitney High School in California (#1 public high school in California/ #3 in the nation) if that means anything

I'm also an African-American student that's been involved in sports my whole life.

I'm looking at schools like UCLA, UCSD, and USC

and could someone tell me how to calculate my weighted UC gpa please

You are good, especially for both UCs.

Having a 3.5 at a really competitive school is a very different thing than having one at a non-competitive school. And with the course-load you described, it's actually very respectable.

What's your rank? At CA public schools a 4.0 can be top 20%.

usc is in....although the gpa is a bit low....but 2250 makes up for it

my school doesn't rank which is a good thing, because if they did i'd be around 20-30%
