Black's Beach DRUM CIRCLES!

Hey guys.. this thread, unlike the excellent posts of Slorg and others, has no real academic value. It is all about the fun and spirit of UCSD.

Anyways.. I just got back from a Black's drum circle, which occurs every full moon. There were 150-200-ish people, lots of drums, a nice fire, some fun dancing, lots of illicit substance, naked people (not too many - I left before the potential-nakeds were naked yet), and people performing with fire. Some people camp out in tents, go swimming naked, and of course, keep the music goin. It's a kickass time and the moon really lights up the beach.

Like I said, no real value in this post, but I'm lookin forward to seein all of you guys at Blacks (naked or clothed). Post if you love beach parties!

...work at 8..goodnight...

Yes, cookies and juice have academic value...

Cookies and Juice, Slorg.

Cookies. And. Juice.

Compared to Beach Parties.

I think its clear who's more non-academic.

I want to get naked!!!

it sucks that most of the nudists down there are old men

It sounds somewhat strange, but check-out worthy.

WayyyTooWorried, as for the cookies and juice: my parents used them as rewards for doing my homework. It was a successful system. Its only drawback is now I drool whenever I do homework. I have to wear a bib everytime I go to classes just in case someone starts talking about homework. So everytime you see a guy wearing a bib in class at UCSD, chances are it's me.

Note to self:

Avoid college students with bibs.
