blah. happy for my friend for being able to meet president obama but also jealous

hey,

surprise surprise i'm here again (if anyone remembers lol) but that's besides the point.

my friend got top 40 in the intel science/research competition and now he gets to meet president obama in washington dc during march. he'll get a signed photograph from him and will be able to talk to him and all that jazz. i'm extremely happy for him but also jealous and regretful that I didn't take the intel opportunity. oh well, I have to get over it. learn from the past, right?

well, so this is my question. is there anything like an intel competition for college students? obviously college research is much more in depth and involves a higher degree of skills than high school research does, correct? so is there any opportunity to join major-league research competitions and be honored by awesome things cough meet awesomethebestamazinglycool president obama cough?

I'm just curious to know because I'd really like a chance to do something like intel, but now my chances lie in college, if anything exists. I know right now it sounds like I want to do it because of the honor that comes with it, but quite honestly I'm looking to do research in college ANYWAY in the medical field. I just figured there could be other things I could do with my research, like enter competitions.

any advice or any place I could search?

blarghh!!! >__<

thanks for reading.

Lol, clearly none of us have a clue. (but anyway, hiiii asian sensaasssssian! lol)

Hmm...I'm not sure. Why don't you try College Life?
