Block scheduling for ILR

Are they block scheduling Labor history and Econ for Spring semester as well and when?

Why don’t you ask the office of student services?

Oh. That’s right. You are a parent.

drum roll.

LOL @ cayuga

labor history and macroecon are required courses for freshman…so yes…

^ Actually the answer is no.
Surprisingly enough, now that students have gone here for half a semester they expect us to be able to be able to pick the two required classes for second semester on our own.

In their defense they made a meeting with an adviser mandatory for each student and my Micro and OB teacher have reminded me I’ll be talking USLH and Macro second semester. Also, if some student does happen to forget, they know there’s enough room for us, the student just might get stuck with some crappy morning time slots.

I think they give us this freedom btw so that we can select from lecture times that don’t conflict with other electives we’d like to take (eg. I couldn’t take Psych 101 in the Fall because it conflicted with one of my pre-scheduled classes, which could have easily been scheduled around).

thx roneald…
