p. 851 #12 why isn't the answer resentful since it says"media tout the new position, thus providing a misleading view" instead of critical. One isn't critical towards the media if he/she knows that it is misleading, one would be resentful because of the misleading nature
p.866 #21 I picked C misunderstood the meaning of the boy's behavior because it says "I felt utterly confounded" and I don't know how one reaches the answer B since no where in the passage does it mention the gestures being derisive.
p.866#23 why isn't the answer C since it mentions the avoidance of the townspeople.
p.876 #3 why is the use of the semicolon in C wrong opposed to the use of ,and?
p.877 #8 doesn't the which modify the last noun (cost) making the sentence illogical? Wouldn't the use of ,so appropriately join the clauses?
