Blue book scaled score range

What does the score range mean? For example, it says you would have scored 670-770 on CR. Is that depending on the curve? Does it really mean in the middle (720 ish) or one of the extremes. Thanks.

Yeah it’s for the curve. For me I just averaged the two

The BB tests are not actual SATs, so the range is an estimate of what you would score on the real thing. In principal, all practice tests other than administered SATs (including BB, PR, kaplan, etc.) should give ranges, but most people like to see a single number. The range of scores due to different SAT curves is much smaller than the blue book ranges.
