BME 83 vs. ME 83

<p>I'm wondering if upperclassmen could give their input on the characteristics of each class...I'm probably going BME but ME gives my schedule much more flexibility and since both classes work for the BME major I'm wondering about the pros and cons of each. For next fall, Gimm is teaching BME 83 and Lazarides is teaching ME 83 to be more specific. </p>

<p>Also, i know BME 83 labs are about one every two weeks-ish. the schedule for ME 83 says lab is almost 3 hrs (which scares me haha) but in the spring ME 83 lab is scheduled for 50 minutes...is ME 83 lab session like a placeholder kindof like in EGR 75 or something???</p>

<p>no, me83 lab was expanded to 3 hours for the spring (Im in the class now).</p>

<p>Lab reports are LONG (like 15-20 hours) and there are 4-5 big ones, but the class is pretty easy. I have heard Lazarides is not very good though.</p>
