BME and macbook?

ok, so im majoring in biomedical engineering, and i want to get a macbook…maybe pro, idk yet…but ppl say windows is best for engineers. is that true at brown?..b/c of the all the software we will supposedly be using. i thought a solution would be to customize the mac so it has windows and mac os. let me know what you guys thing

Since you can run Windows on a Mac, there are no issues using a Mac even if you find there is a specific piece of software you need for engineering that runs on Windows.

You can dual boot on a Mac so that you can run Windows programs on your Mac laptop. Id prefer a Mac but thats because im tired of Windows and its blahnosity. Macbook Pro is the way to go if you want the best value for your $$.
