I am a junior right now and i really really really want some position in biomedical engineering field. I really don't care how menial it is.... I just want to have SOME experience in the field. If you guys have any suggestions, it would be helpful.

PS I am very interested in JHU, probably will apply to their BME ED

I agree you should do some kind of research summer program. I don't know if you'll have much like finding something thise late, since most application deadlines have long passed. You could always go to a nearby hospital and try to get into contact with the scientific director there. You might be able to join a project that he is already working on or if you're lucky he might even give a new project to start. I did research on stem cells during the summer after my junior year and into my senior year at a local hospital and am still doing so this summer. I got in BME RD. Good luck.
