boarding school chances !!

so i’m in year 8, grade 7, and i only have to fill out applications next year, but i know boarding schools look at your grades from at least this year and forwards.
i’m already really worried that i’m not going to make it, i’ve even downloaded a pdf file of a practice ssat. i know, i’m that worried. (ignore my grammar, i know how to use it correctly)

here is a large list of my achievements and my grades:
last year: honour roll, junior international award, most improved athelete of the grade, best design technology of my grade too.
this year (more detailed):
clubs & activities:

  • prefect
  • yearbook commitee
  • contemporary choir
  • table tennis (two months, school sport)
  • piano class (i’m not amazing at it, so i’ve been trying to work on it so i have musical talent to show)
  • art classes

grades for this semester:

  • english an A
  • math an A
  • science an A
  • humanities an A*(+)
  • chinese a C…

i will work on improving my chinese grade, because that’s obviously something i need to work on.
but the schools i’m looking to get into are:

  • choate
  • thacher
  • webb
  • phillips exeter
  • lake forest (safety school)

i’m in need of help, and if there’s anything i can improve on, please tell me !

Do you need FA? Also what race are you/where are you from? I’m assuming England based on your spelling of some words? These can impact your chances of admission.

i’m american, but i’ve been learning from a british school system my whole life.
how does it impact the chances?

Being an American citizen is certainly better than applying as an international applicant. However, it doesn’t impact your chances. Rather, being an international applicant would have lowered your chances.
