I do not like Macs at all. I am all Windows/PC.

I want a mac but my family are HP people. Groton you have to have a dell.

get a Mac so you can use Bonjour

mac is god. (i happen to be typing on mine right now )
basically, i’ve dropped this thing many many times and if it was a pc it would’ve broken/gotten a virus by now! The only thing that’s happened is i made the mistake of putting it in my suitcase and not sheltering it between layers of clothes, so there’s a big crack on the left side of the screen
but that’s my fault, not apple’s
never had a prob with my mac. i FREAKING SPILLED SPRITE ALL OVER IT and it still works fine.

If you have a mac your paying for quality AND style w/ anything run by windows you get 80 million viruses etc

IMO its not worth the effort not to get a mac. If you can afford it. You can get a mac for $999 plus w/ student discount (discount+printer for students…or it was something like that) vs. $599 and a bunch of viruses :P

just curious, is anyone thinking of getting an ipad? xD maybe not for school (that’d be cool though haha) but just in general :P

I got for Windows because I like the look better xD the design is better in my opinion But I like how it runs and i guess depending on the browser you use, its really fast ;)

Haha, Izzy. By the way, Mac owners- How is compatibility? Do you guys use Microsoft for Mac or iWork?

i have both so it depends on which one i want lol

Haha, Windows design is better… That may well be the least educated statement I’ve heard all year

i hate how the computer programming/tech at our school is all about macs, and how 98% of people in my class only have windows… argh. silly macs.

macs are creepy.
besides, MAC makes me think of mcdonalds, which makes me think about obesity… and who wants to think about obesity whenever they turn on their computer?!

D: I feel offended Tomthecat >:( PCs are way cooler than macs

Im sorry, but I am not going to pay 1,000 for a 13 inch computer when i can get a 16.4 w/ blu ray and high def screen for the same price ( my computer XD )
13 inches is way too little for me, especially for 1000 dollars, and thats just the old macbook that nobody even likes anymore

would you rather have a clunky, giant, heavy dell or a nice, sleak, lightweight mac? I think the question is already answered :p

yeah nice and sleak until you look at the screen Dell pwns
–kay i should stop going on cc ._. study for ap time~ rawr no more laptop wars for me D:

On my toshiba, there is like a 5 inch hump on the bottom of the base that is for like the power supply, it is so awkward. haha

Yeah, PCs are basically poorly designed. I don’t care about paying a price premium for something that functions so consistently and smoothly that I have no worries about it whatsoever. If I want to run Windows applications, I can - all I have to do is boot up my Mac using Boot Camp and I can run Windows 7 natively. Your PC can’t run OS X unless you hack it. It’s like I have two computers in one.

Azulhearts, yet more exceptionally philistine remarks. Until you look at the screen? What does that even mean?

“phillistine” Wow, that is SO weird, Tom. I used that word today for the first time in probably 15 years, then I read it here. How strange!

Sorry for the completely off topic addition.

By the way, Mac’s displays tend to be harder on my eyes most laptop screens, or they used to be anyway. I’ve always liked Acer’s display the best, as far as eye strain goes.
