I am currently in 8th grade and I have applied Andover, Choate, Exeter, Lawrenceville, and Deerfield. I currently go to a private K-12 school in Northern Virginia. So far, I have gotten all As except for two Bs in my 7th grade and 8th-grade year combined. My highest SSAT score was just over 2200, but with super scoring, I believe that it would be higher than that. I am a committed dancer and cellist, and I sent in videos of some of my performances. I did not apply for financial aid. What chances do you think I have of getting in?

You’ll have to let us know. You are outside of NE, so that is a big plus. These schools love their dance troupes and orchestras so it sounds like you can contribute in this way, and you are full pay. Hope you had really good interviews. I’d say your chances are good. If you are legacy to any or URM or attend a feeder school, your chances of course are much better. Good Luck!
