Any truth to the rumors that some calls were made to accepted students yesterday?
@2wuhanmom I don’t think they call. Plus it’s spring break. I suspect they will be not be notifying until Thursday or Friday of this coming week.
It’s funny you should ask. My daughter just said BOCO is notifying. She heard it on The Green Room so take it for what you will. I just asked again and she said kids have had phone calls and emails.
Are the notifications coming for CT or MT?
My D is a junior at Boco and as far as I know, they have always notified for MT acceptances all at once through email. I’ve never heard of them making phone calls. They accept over 100 kids for MT, I can’t imagine they would selectively call accepted students.
@Bogeyw Thanks for the info! I did hear that (email notification) and when I called they confirmed. Waiting for our Pace letter via snail mail was torture especially when we heard some were notified earlier. Kudos to BOCO. 100 for MT?? Wow
@mamacordoba, to clarify they accept about 100 to yield a class of 60 or so. The class is split up into separate “cores” of about a dozen students who attend most of the classes together, so the class sizes stay small.
Thanks so much for the info! @Bogeyw Crossing fingers and toes. We should know by April 1st:) My D made the mistake of applying to only a few schools so if it’s a no from BOCO then she’ll have to think about next steps…gap year or Columbia and the like…
Wishing you good news from Boco @mamacordoba! Hopefully they’ll notify early since its Easter weekend. We got lucky and in my D’s senior year, Boco happened to notify early. They sent out decisions on St. Patrick’s Day, but for some reason that’s the only time they ever did that. I know the waiting is torture!
