Body Language Habits

So what kind of body language habits do you guys have? I always bite my fingernails, touch my face when I'm talking, stand too close to people LOL.

Bite my fingernails, yawn when I’m around people I don’t know.

I rub/scratch my neck when I talk with strangers. I also can’t look into people’s eyes for more than 5 sec. when I’m talking, even with friends.

I look straight into the eyes of anyone that I talk to.
I used to bite my fingernails, trying REALLY hard to stop that.
I play with my hair a lot.
I also have a tendency to drum my fingers on surfaces when listening to music.

I wiggle my nose at random times, sit on the edge of my chair, squint and tilt my head to the side when I’m listening to someone or get confused. I lick my lips cause im sexi, and my hands get sweaty. I pucker my lips and cross my arms behind my back when I’m bored. I rub the back of my neck when I write and stroke my beard when I think.

I play with the area between where my collarbones meet.
I play with the ends of my hair.
I chew on my bottom lip or the inside of my mouth.
I look away every few seconds.
I hug my stomach with my arms. Lol.

I don’t know where I should place my hands, so I fidget a lot.
I also have bad posture, so I will randomly jerk my right shoulder back to correct it.
My gestures are as elegant as those of the Tin Man.
I stare directly into people’s eyes. Since my eyes are somewhat large, many find this disconcerting.
I squint frequently.
I like to crack my knuckles.

That’s it for now.

I’m told I do stuff with my hands while talking, I notice I scratch the back of my neck while flirting.

Oh and I often pick things up with my feet pretty often, I do the knuckle/back cracks but only when bored.

I bite my fingernails when every I get nervous or something exciting is going to happen (like vacation). When talking to people that are new to me, I tend to look down at my feet and just glance at the person. I also bit the inside of my mouth when I am thinking or trying to say something that needs to be said but don’t know how to say it. I guess I have tons of body language habits that I didn’t even know about without actually thinking about them.

@ ksarmand: I usually wear clothes with pockets to avoid the fidgeting. :)

Other habits:

 1. random hand gestures (the wilder the better)
 2. pulling hair behind ear (or is it called tucking? idk)
 3. swaying back and forth or side-to-side

I had this weird habit of yawning when things were awkwardly silent, and I also chew my fingernails

If I’m standing in one spot for 10+ minutes, then I usually have this issue as well. I typically end up crossing my arms or sticking my hands in my pockets.

Yes, I have this issue as well

When I can’t figure something out I rub my hair and scratch until my hair falls out.

A little less related, even though I don’t try to do this, apparently it’s very obvious from my face when I think the person talking to me is an idiot, or when I’m hungry.

Slapping my forehead with my palm when I go “-_-” or need to roll my eyes at a friend or family member

Tugging my shirt a lot

Smiling or frowning based on thoughts instead of environment

Slouching because I forget not to so it looks like I’m, well, slouching, blahh

^LMFAOOO, great. :p

A lot of people have problems with hand placement, it seems. But there are problems with many of the suggestions:

I can’t put my hands in my pockets because a lot of my clothing doesn’t have pockets.

I can’t fold my arms; I’m tired of being accused of being frigid. Yes, it sucks to be an XX.

I don’t have portable shrubbery.

You know how when people put their hands on their hips, they put their thumbs behind their backs and place the rest of their fingers on the front of their hips? I definitely do it the other way, with my thumbs in front of my hips and my fingers behind my back (and angled down). It makes me look like a pregnant woman but it’s so much more comfortable.

I play with my hair. BIG TIME.

For some reason, I can’t look directly into people’s eyes for very long, lol, so I’m always fidgeting and moving my hands and looking around :)
