I would like to take the Boltbus to the closest location/most convenient to UMD. They go to the following stations: Washington (Union Station), DC., Washington, D.C. 10th St. & H St. NW, and Greenbelt, MD Metrorail Intermodal Station. Which is the best option for me and how do I get to the campus once I am off the bus? Thanks

It sounds like any of them would be fine really. From Union Station, take the metro to the UMD station (but that involves transfering from the red to the green line).

The 10th and H sounds a bit easier. Just walk a couple of blocks over to the Gallery Place/Chinatown metro (green line so just go straight to the umd station again).
For both of these, once your at the UMD metro station, take the UM shuttle onto campus which will drop you off at either the Engineering building or up the hill to Stamp.

The Greenbelt, MD one might be the most direct route. Not too sure about which UM shuttle goes there though so you might want to double check from dots.umd.edu .

I called Bolt and they were clueless but just got off the phone with the UMD visitor center and Greenbelt is the easiest. Once you get off the bolt bus take the Greenline(towards branch ave.) 1 stop and the UMD shuttle has a stop there. The trip from the Boltbus should take only around 10-15min depending on the shuttle schedule.

Just a general note about the UM Metro Shuttlebus for the summer:

1) It doesn’t run to Stamp anymore (as part of the Campus Drive closing pilot program). It now just drops off and picks up at the math slip (by the engineering/math buildings).

2) It doesn’t run on the weekends during the summer.
