Bon Appetit comes to Penn

Bon Appetit comes to Penn - News

does this mean that the dining food will now be good?

hahaha maybe I should sign up for a meal plan again

haha i have a feeling the food was crap. am i right?? the dining hall was never showed on tours and the food served at penn previews was…bad and dry haha. im going there still cuz penn still rocks but im hoping the food will be better!

My friend from Minnesota has bon appetit at her college and she said it’s the best food she’s ever had! I hope it’ll be the same for us

Looks quite promising! Makes me wish I was back at Penn around mealtime. :)

What type of food do they give you at Penn? How much do the meal plans cost? Did anybody hear about that guy who’s donating unused meals to a charity?

good thing i graduated this year and will only remember penn food in its aramark days :/

i feel kinda dorky for being so excited about the new food haha. but anyways, i saw that bon appetit was twice voted #1 in campus food by the princeton review…just thought i should let you guys know.

The sample menu sounds promising: https://www.campusexpress.upenn.edu/static/menu.pdf

Although, admittedly, it’s not difficult to make crap food sound good…I’m just hoping their food is natural and at least somewhat healthy.

how would you guys rank the food out of all 8 ivies. (I’ve heard cornell is the best)

i hope so because my parents want me to get the Quaker Plan, since I’ll live near 1920 Commons and since the meal plan seems like more bang for your buck

damn, and I was hoping for crappy food. Not even kidding! (people at my school tend to lose weight when they go to college bc we have all you can eat almost all the time dining halls with pretty good food).

I don’t need to lose weight, but I don’t want to gain weight. I think I’m going with the Quaker Plan, and I’ll just eat 2 meals a day, and then feed my parents when they visit so that the meals that I don’t eat, in effort to not gain weight, don’t go to waste.

2 meals a day isn’t healthy…

why not? i pretty much do that now. i rarely eat breakfast.
