I searched but didn't find a topic on this. Finals are over for me, and book buy back is in full swing. they are offering less than half of what the book costs...should I sell them back to the Barnes and Noble on campus? Should I wait till Spring semester and list them on Craigslist?

What is the best, easiest way to get the msot money back on these things?

Honestly, it's a complete hassle to sell your books online. My brother has books listed on Amazon and it's taking forever to sell them and they are listed at the cheapest price. I would just sell back to the store on campus. You might get more online, but you might not.

are you kidding me! Selling books back to the bookstore is for people who lazy and can't wait to receive cash. You will almost always get more money from selling them online than from the bookstore.

If you list your books right when everyone would be buying their books for the new semester (ie, August/Sept or January), they'll sell. If you list them in like November, it's going to take a while. Supply and demand.

Believe it or not, some people need cash right away or they can't afford their books for the next semester.

This is not almost always true.

Thank you, great guru. The books were listed before the fall semester started.

I wanted to sell my books back but SOMEHOW coffee spilled on my desk last night and soaked three of them :(
I'm really sad because I was counting on that money to buy Christmas presents :(
Guess everyone's getting cookies this year....
