Books and "time to be arranged" classes

Hey, I'm wondering when should i get books? Is it enough to just go into the book store when i get up there, or the advanced order thing, and if i do that do within the next couple days will it ship in time for classes?

and i am registered for man's food but it says "time to be arranged" when will they arrange that, or do i have to do something?

Wait till calsses start to see if you actually need the books. then hit up amazon, half.com, ebay, braigslist, etc.

“to be arranged” means its an online class.

gpowsang

That’s because Man’s Food is online, so you decide when you want to work on it.

I’m taking it this fall too. :)

so for online classes, will i get an email or something explaining it?

I’m a fellow man’s food student this fall as well :D

My D took Man’s Food last Fall as a Freshman. You will get an email from professor Marshall when school starts with all the information regarding the class. I don’t think the course website was on Elearning, but it may be by now.

do you ever have to go to an actual class?

No, you don’t ever go to class. You do have to sign up to take your tests and go to a classroom to take it during the specified time span which was usually 3 days.
