Books for AP Macro and AP Chem?

I got the REA book for AP macroeconmics, is it good? Will I need another book?
Also, I want to order Barron's for AP chem. Is that a good enough book?
(I will be in classes for both these tests, I am not self studying)

I honestly wouldn’t suggest either of those books for either of those classes. For AP Macro, I’m personally using 5 Steps to a 5 and Princeton Review. For AP Chem, Princeton Review.

REA (I’m assuming Crash Course) won’t be enough to study for unless you plan on using it as a cram packet for the AP exam (I would HIGHLY suggest Crash Course for AP exam cramming). A lot of people recommend 5 Steps to a 5 as a class supplement for its explanations and proper depth. Use PR and some YouTube vids if you want to survive AP Chem.

I second PR for Chem (but along with a textbook throughout the year). It’s very concise but has all the important information and during the weeks leading up to AP, its exactly what you want to read, not Barrons which is crammed with unnecessary info. Haven’t taken Macro

Chem: PR with AP Chem class. Didn’t use Zumdahl textbook at all, pretty much.

For Macro: Combination of PR with 5 Steps to a 5. Either/or is fine too

Chem: PR PR PR PR PR
