Books for math 141

it says on PASS that we need: Set2 Thomas’calculus+Mymathlab W/E Text

but its still very confusing, there are so many different versions of the books, and I tried to search it by the ISBN code, there was no sign of it. Has anyone had this class before? Could someone give me a brief description about the book? like what the book looks like?

I have never taken a Thomas calculus book before. Since it is a set, it is most likely that only Cal Poly has it. You should email your professor and ask him/her whether you need the whole set or just the book. There are some professors who just want you to get the book (which is cheaper) and can be found on amazon (it would have the same name and author on the book).

For example, my physics class says that I need a “set”. I ended up mailing my professor if I could just get a book instead. He said yes and I ended up buying the same exact book (that came with the set) from amazon. I paid $140 instead of $200.
