Anyone know what the best books on fin-aid are? A friend needs help.

Save a tree…use CC

Paying for College Without Going Broke - 2010 edition; I heard about it on CC, and got it from the local library. Very informative.

I need to write one. I could use the extra money! :)

Just go to this link (http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/search.php?searchid=24711225) and print it out and fold it into a book.

Bad link…

Failing that, you can just click on “kelsmom”, click on “statistics” and then head over to “Find all posts by kelsmom”

I don’t disagree with that. I thought you might have found one that summarized all the pithy advice I’ve seen. :)

I’m reading “Paying for College Without Going Broke” right now and it is great! It was recommended to me about 4 times in a previous thread. They put out a new edition every year in October. Instead of buying the 2010 edition, I found a used 2009 for $3.00, but I plan on buying the 2011 edition in October.

It’s an easy read and gives the same advice I’m getting on CC, but in a more comprehensive method. It’s written primarily to parents.
