Books

Does anyone know where to get a list of books needed for first semester courses?

as professors submit their reading lists, the books will show up on the bookstore website:

I just finished purchasing my daughter’s (BC Junior) fall books. I saved about $250 vs. used bookstore prices. This is my 6th consecutive year purchasing college texts. I used to drive myself crazy trying to save every nickle. Now I pretty much purchase from either Amazon (new and used) or Half.com which is a reputable subsidiary of EBAY. Be careful of shipping costs ($3.49 to $3.99) which can add up on smaller paperbacks. Amazon’s free shipping option for orders over $25 or the used BC bookstore option that is tax free is sometimes the most economical option. Once you get your student’s campus address in mid-August you can start shipping directly to campus. BC notifies students via an email that they need to print when they have a package to pick up. BC has a very reliable mail system and has never misplaced the nearly hundred packages I have sent. I resell my student’s books on Half.com which is easy to use. The commission is reasonable and proceeds are deposited bi-monthly into my bank account. You will save lots of money selling the books yourself at market value vs. the pennies on the dollar offered my any college bookstore.

^^amazon offers college students a free Prime account – eliminate the shipping costs. And we too, bought as many books online as possible.
