Can anyone tell me where to find prices for textbooks at the University bookstore. For some reason, I can't seem to find any of my textbooks on their website and cannot get their prices to compare with other booksellers. Thanks for any info.

I actually inquired about this recently through a call to the bookstore. Their explanation was that distributors often change their prices making it difficult for the University bookstore to list the costs. It's definately inconvenient when trying to shop around for the best price, but the old-fashioned phone call to the store seems to be the only way. I may have overlooked something, though.

Amazon will always be as cheap or cheaper. Don't bother.

would you say that buying textbooks through the Barnes and Nobles website is also cheaper than the bookstore prices?

I haven't checked, but in all reality, somewhere that doesn't have the costs of a storefront will usually be cheaper. For that reason, amazon, half.com, ebay, etc. will probably be cheaper than B&N or the bookstore.
