<p>Prospective students : check out this a gossip site for Dartmouth kids and you'll see all sorts of ridiculous stuff posted by Dartmouth kids on it. Our newspaper reported on it a few times and its a pretty big thing on campus. Use it to get a semi decent idea of the social life - its no where near as catty as the board (when you're anonymous online everyone is worse) and almost everyone on it is in a fraternity/sorority but there is a significant percentage of the population who feels that way. just a heads up</p>

<p>i almost don’t want to justify this … but … boredatbaker is NOT representative of campus attitudes in general … since it’s anonymous, dominated by a minority of really abrasive ppl anyway, and generally used as a place to be incredibly obnoxious, I wouldn’t put too much stock in what’s said there.</p>

<p>That being said, the attitudes there are present, if not really apparent at all times. Take it with a grain of salt. But also, really, don’t read it. It’s not worth it. You won’t really learn anything.</p>
