Bored during Senior Year

So I've been accepted to my first choice college already...and I'm done with all college applications and financial aid stuff (except for FAFSA)...and since it's winter break...I'm SO BORED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you guys give me ideas or a hobby I should look into, to keep myself occupied from now until June? Since winter break started, I've just been sleeping in, eating, hanging out with friends, and going online...nothing interesting. I NEED to find a lasting hobby. Any ideas???

Congrats!

Read. Write. Listen to music. Make music. Watch movies. Make movies. Write movie reviews. Make soundtracks to your made movies. Then critique them. TV—Get some new shows, buddy. Create the cure for cancer…or just tackle the common cold. Buy a chemistry set. Create a new philosophy. Make a scrapbook. Become a leader in a youth group that revolutionizes the country. Make a new car. Drive a gold cart to Portland, Oregon. Fly to Russia on a helicopter. Learn Russian first. Leave your hometown for a weekend and go on a road trip. Think of new threads for CC. Find better websites.

Enjoy life.

Color! Coloring is always fun.

Just…have a fantastic life!

If that wasn’t helpful, look at the above suggestions.

Strap rodents to obscure objects–boomerangs, rockets, yoyos, the like.

Apply for scholarships.

Any other realistic ideas?

And I don’t really see the point of applying to obscure scholarships, I got a full ride to my first choice college.

I’ve been trying to download music/movies, but it takes FOREVER to do that on my old laptop with slow internet connection. And no money to buy it. Music…no problem, I can use limewire. But movies? Is there a way?

You got a full scholarship to (I’m assuming) Princeton…? How?

I had many realistic ideas. Tell me more about yourself and I will give better, more concrete ideas. There are many websites where you can download movies—use google to find them.

Don’t use limewire… use torrents.

^^Questbridge. Pretty awesome. (And once again tomjones, no. I don’t stalk you.)

Eat. Sleep. Party. Read new books. Create your own language. Exercise. Run. Make friends with a hobo. I have more ideas, but I’m too tired to think of any.

Maybe you could look into finding an internship.

Pokemon :D

Start playing no limit texas hold em. And start going to the gym so you’re buff by the time you get to college.

^^agree 10 char

lol you got into Princeton? sweet. do stuff you would have never imagined doing.

Try rock climbing, skiing, or something fun and challenging. Hang out with your friends… sleep, eat, play video games. Read a good book. Maybe have a movie marathon.

^^^congrats on the full ride!

go skinny dipping and snowboarding in tahoe on the same day

Get a job to make some spending money for college.

^Yeah, get a job, especially if you need one during the summer (that way, you’ve got one secured before every HS kid starts applying).

Other than that, idk…when I’m bored, I usually start going through reruns of a show season by season, but that’s pathetic. Entourage and Arrested Development are good though.

hmm yeah i think i should get a job.
