Boren scholarship ?

<p>My D is double majoring- Russian and French- and so will be spending only one semester in Russia before going to France (where she will also take a Russian course to maintain fluency). This is preceded by a summer intensive in Advanced. Although the Boren is preferentially given to those who study abroad for a year, has anyone received for one semester? I can't help but think that being trilingual would be an advantage at the State dept. but our govt works in mysterious ways.</p>
