Boston College ED 2021-2022

Hello! I recently visited BC and am pretty sure that it is my number one choice for colleges. I am interested in applying early decision this year but what I was wondering was how much that would actually help my chances of getting admitted? I know that they make up a good portion of their class from ed.

I am applying to CSOM btw

There is a very significant difference in ED and RD acceptance rates at BC. If you know BC is your top choice, I strongly recommend you apply for one of the two ED rounds, especially if you want to get into the CSOM. (Of course, I say that not knowing your stats or your financial need, which are important considerations in any application strategy.)

Can’t tell you your chances - but it’s your best bet if that’s your top choice. But if you are well under the standards, then perhaps it’d be wasting an attempt. You don’t provide any data to work from.

Applying ED is probably a bit of a bump, but not as much as the relative acceptance rates would indicate. Only apply ED if the net price calculator suggests it will be affordable.

Here for BC ED class of 2026. Does anyone have any information about the acceptance rates for Lynch School of Education?
