Yes I would agree that BC does draw attention because of its football program. But Lehigh does draw a lot of kids from the PA/NJ/NY area. I'm pretty sure that's where most ofthe kids come from.

Lehigh no longer has a regional only reputation.

^ is there anything specific that your friend loves about the school?

I didnt really go into detail with him. He just said he likes it a lot.

Hey, I go to lehigh (poli sci and econ major in CAS). If your wondering about job opportunities, the business school in lehigh is AMAZING for networking. Lehigh alumni absolutely love the school (check out our Alumni giving rate), and the starting salary of most kids out the the business school is phenomenal. I cant say much on BC, but if your in the business school here they treat you like gold. Personally, I'm from the NY / NJ area so the name Lehigh goes a lot farther than BC (ask my Dad, Director of IT at a fortune 500 company). Then again, if you want to go to school up in New England I wouldn't be suprised if BC got you a little farther. But as for NY and Philadelphia, I couldn't see how BC has a better name. Lehigh's career services are also awesome. You can apply for internships, externships, and jobs through this one service we have which holds a database of all Lehigh alumni who have job openings.

(if you're like me though and want to go into economics through the arts and science school, which you can do, I dont know if you'll have as amazing opportunities. They seriously spoil the business kids here like nothing else. But great thing about Lehigh is you can change your college with a signature.)

But yeah, any business major at Lehigh will tell you that they are in no way worried about getting a job in the future. (Except for sophmores, by the time the graduate we'll be knee deep in recession. But thats just the economist in me with my own predictions. lol)
