Boston College Presidential Scholars Program vs. Emory Goizeta Scholars Program

I am a finalist for both of these programs. Will either one help me more? Does anyone have any experience with either program?

Emory undergrad business is ranked like top 10 in the nation and is very recognized, especially in the south… I honestly cannot speak much about BC…

As a student at BC’s CSOM, I can say that both CSOM and Goizueta are excellent business schools, with Goizueta being ranked somewhat higher than CSOM. However, you must note that while BC accepts incoming freshmen into its business school automatically (had you applied to it during the application process), you must wait until the end of your sophomore year at Emory before you can apply for placement at Goizueta.

If you have any questions about CSOM, please do not hesitate to ask on the BC message board here.

Edit: Did you apply for CSOM as part of the admissions process?

That said, both BC and Emory are excellent schools.

But really, who wants to live in Atlanta? Ick. >_>

Goizueta Scholars: automatic admission to Goizueta…fyi

I do not think you can go wrong with Goizueta… I hear wonderful things about it. Then again, BC’s business school is apparently pretty good as well. And yes, if youre a Goizueta Scholar, it is automatic admission as far as I know!

Wait are any of you current Scholars at Emory?
