I need to decide by May 1st and I’m totally stuck between these two schools. Please let me know any and all ideas about which to choose and WHY!! Things that matter to me are academics, getting a job after college, having nice people around and partying. Most likely concentration on government/poly sci. HELP!!
I would give a nod to BC for their alumni connections (well connected) and strong academics overall. BC awards deserving urban students full scholarships and assistance through their City Connects program in 20 schools, so community service is important (and nice people.). BC is known to be a partying school.
Boston, having a vibrant and interesting big-city government as well as being the state capital, is a fascinating place to observe government in action.
@2019grl: Both have what your looking for in a college, the difference is the location, do you perfer CT over Chestnut Hill area and Boston. Also what is the $$ is the ROI equal to the COA, CT is beautiful and has a great party scene just like BC. A close friend of our d is going to Connecticut College and she couldn’t be happier with her decision.
