Boston College versus Holy Cross

Both schools will give you a solid education, but BC seemed more diverse its location is better

~~bump~~bump~~

You can't beat Boston for the city!

My uncle owns the bus company that operates the 600 buses that are going back and forth between Newton and Main every day so we think it is a wonderful college experience for everyone.

Yeah, the 30,000 who are applying this year would probably agree.

By the way, BC bus is operated and run by BC, so I'm sure your "uncle" and his fleet of "600" buses is making ton of money of the "imaginary" people who are riding them.

Seriously, if you going to make up a number, 60 would already be farfetch. 600?! Come on now. The entire fleet of the MBTA bus system has only 1,017 buses for the entire Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and your "uncle" has 600 running just for Newton.

If you want to be a troll, at least try and be a good one. This is just pathetic.

According to MBTA Bus - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia there are about 25,000 MBTA buses in use daily. Transporting 600 plus kids a day multiple times of day as they go back and forth at all times fo day and night is a demanding bus schedule.

According to MBTA, its "Fleet [is] 1,017[1]" it says right on the website. Seriously, 25,000!? That's how many times the fleet of buses are running--each bus runs about 20 something routes a day. I guess all those small classes didn't help with the reading comprehension.

"that operates the 600 buses" doesn't match this, "Transporting 600 plus kids." Next thing I know it, you'll be posting 600 flying carpets are flying us to school.

P.S.

What happen to this "uncle" of yours who owns that fleet of 600 buses you so proudly boasted earlier? You sure like to play with make-believe "facts." You haven't posted one thing so far that turn out truth. I begin to doubt all those HC trivia facts (they wouldn't happen come from your vision from last night too, would they?)

For such a great school, HC couldn't produce a better cheerleader than you. Sad.

One can easily imagine in excess of 600 separate bus segments required to handle the several dozen one way trips from Newton to main campus seven days a week.

^ One can easily imagine a bitter troll making things up too.

P.S. Here is some factual help for you. The buses from Newton run TWO-way route. They transport only 40% of the Freshman class. Newton Campus contains every thing students would need. And it's actually in a safe neighborhood.

P.P.S
Until you have something substantial to say, please refrain from posting. It's almost painful to watch.

"accomendation" " Not an English major?

"accomendation" " Not an English major?

Come again?

BC has a lot of things to be critical about. But buddy, you grasping for straws. Do some research and come back with something worthwhile to read. Please, I beg you.
And say hi to your "uncle" for me.

Maybe we should set up some Video Tele conference feeds between the two separate campuses so students can still attend class during inclement weather when the buses are unable to traverse the roads during the legendary Boston Noreasters.

^ I'm glad you bring up the "legendary Boston Noreasters." Newton campus is situated on a small hill with many great tree-line. It makes for some great snow fun. Many students from the Main campus take trips to Newton to enjoy snow sledding and snow wars. It's quite an experience. The dining facility at Newton makes some killer hot chocolate, so it's a nice way to warm up.

P.S.
You have to find something beyond Newton to criticize with, please. It's getting old.

Sounds like hey "enuddeR" boring night at BC with nothing to do but post incessantly on message boards about how great life is at BC.

^I'm actually at home. It's called spring break. So I guess you are actually right for once, there isn't anything to do at BC. Since, there isn't anyone there. I'll be flying to California on Monday, so you will have a whole week to lie. Have fun. But don't worry, I'll periodically check to see if your "uncle" and his fleet of "600" magic buses are getting any work.

LOL, coming from some who has 13.05 post a day, compare to my 0.94 post a day (and most of them from posting random facts about HC that no one cares and making up stuff to smear a school you couldn't get into; I'll be praying my life will never get that depressing), aren't you being a hypocrit there, Mr. Outdoorman? I guess the College of HC doesn't provide much. But hey, I would stay indoor too if my town is Worcester. Lord knows how long you'll survive out there.

I can't help but laught at the progress of your posts. They are getting worse and worse. Clever with spelling my screen name backward. What exactly does the act signify anyway? Then again, "rednuobgelloc" does have a nice ring to it. Ha ha.

I will be leaving these boards very soon as well since I will be off on a 16 day Holy Cross Alumni Trip to China with a group of 25 HC Alumni where we will be retracing the steps of a 16th century Jesuit missionary (Matteo Ricci) in China accompanied by an acclaimed Professor of Chinese Studies at HC and the current and former college presidents of HC. Should be quite the education.

^ Have a safe trip and don't drink the water. Seriously, you Don't want to drink the water there.

P.S.
Now why couldn't you have posted sensible posts like the one you just posted. There is nothing wrong with having school pride, but mindlessly attacking another school is just a waste of your time. You can read all of my posts before our little conversation here, and you won't find a single bad thing about HC there.

I have my Marlaria pills, Hepatitis A and B shots, tetanus shots and still will not drink the water! LOL
