Help me. My family has no experience in the college application process, and I feel so lost. I've applied to a lot of schools, but I just don't know what's right for me. Obviously, I don't know you and you don't know me, but I want to know where someone could get the most engaging and quality education as an English major out of the schools I've applied to.

I want to major in English, and to eventually get a MA in something to do with that. (Sorry I'm so vague, I really haven't decided what I want to do. I'm interested in Teaching English, Teaching English as a Second Language, Journalism... stuff like that.)

So far I've been accepted to Boston College, Gonzaga University, Loyola Marymount University, Santa Clara, and University of Portland. I've also applied to UW Honors, USC, and Georgetown University as reaches. I'm thinking of throwing an Ivy League in there too, just for kicks.

Random, right? Well, I like to have options.

From your experience, which of these schools would be best for an English major?
I like the idea of Boston, but is it really that great of a school? Is it worth it for me to leave the West Coast? I like Gonzaga too, but I'm not sure how great of a school it is. 80% of people that apply from my school get in. That makes it far less appealing.
