Has anyone heard of this?

No, but I would like to learn more about it. Do you have a link?

Has anyone been able to discern the quality of this program? Looks good on paper and I know the professor is well respected. Any student reviews from past years?

Yeah, this program looks extremely shady

I did the biological research program last year (summer of 2013) and I really enjoyed it. I did the second session, and about half of the people came from out of state and stayed in dorms at Dana Hall, and the other half drove in every day. There was a nice mix of note-taking and hands-on labs; in the morning Mr. Dixon, who was very good at explaining the material, would give a powerpoint presentation and after lunch we would do a lab. The power points were understandable and they were all on our session’s Wikispace in case there was something we didn’t get down. Some memorable labs that we did were extracting DNA from strawberries and our cheek cells. For field trips, we took a tour of broad institute of MIT and Harvard and we went to the marine center on Cape Cod; the residential kids went on additional field trips. Dana Hall School has really nice lab facilities and the experiments got pretty good results. High school biology is useful to have taken for the background information, though not necessary.

“Shady”? Based on what? Feelings or facts? . Please provide useful answers based on experience. You could be disparaging a solid program.
