Boston or Northestern, Penn State or Ohio State for Global Business and Management?

Hey there,
So I got my acceptance letters from 8 university's which are

Boston University
Bryant University (Scholarship of 12,000 USD)
Bentley University
Northeastern University
Ohio State University
Penn State University Park
Purdue University
Syracuse University

However, I am extremely confused and not able to decide where to go. All these university's seem to have strengths and weaknesses of their own. It will be highly beneficial for me, if someone could suggest me which university is the best fit for me. Considering all the factors such as Financials, Campus Environment, Ranking, Reputation in both Education and Corporate field, City, etc.

I will be pursuing a course in Management as an undergraduate.
Thanks in advance.

Northeastern and Penn State have the best programs. Both offers a great holistic learning environment. Boston U is also pretty good, but expensive.

I agree on Northeastern. Might say Ohio State and Penn State are both good as well so long as you are comfortable living in a more rural environment. Purdue is also a very good university, although its business program is not as good as other programs, such as its engineering program.

Go to Northeastern or BU if you want to live in a big city.
Go to Penn State or Ohio State if you want to live in a more rural environment.

None of these are really bad options.

Thanks guys,
But amongst all my university’s Ohio State seems to have the best ranking for the business school. I am receiving some inclination towards Boston U by my school counselor. And I am looking forward to live in a big city where I can find better employment opportunities.

Northeastern and Penn State imo have the best business schools on this list.

Northeastern probably has the best career prospectus.

“Ohio State seems to have the best ranking for the business school.”

That’s completely false as explained by others. Ohio state doesn’t have the best business school on that list.

If you can’t pay the price of Northeastern, go with Penn State.

@informative Ohio State rural lol ?

Okay,
After all the analysis and research, I have narrowed down my choices to these 4:

Boston U
Bentley U
Penn State Univ. Park
Northeastern U

Help me!!!

Northeastern.

Penn State has a large alumni networking system to aid in securing jobs.

Bentley is a good business school but it is not known for anything else. BU and Northeastern are much larger universities with way more academic programs so there are students studying any major you can think of. BU and NEU are both in downtown Boston, Bentley is in the suburbs though I think it is easy to get to Boston from Campus either by the school’s shuttle bus (?) or public transportation.
NEU has famous for the co-op program. Do you want to do co-ops?
I don’t think you will like Penn State’s location at all.

Everybody,
Thanks a lot for your kindness of answering all my queries.
After further research, I am looking forward to cross out Penn State and Bentley as well.

BeanTownGirl,
I am still quite unsure regarding the co-op program. It would be highly beneficial if you could provide me with the advantages and disadvantages of the same.

Now, most probably I am down to Boston and Northeastern. Both seem equally good to me.

Northeastern has the better international business program, but both are pretty solid programs. They are very different schools though, so you should probably visit the campuses (BU doesn’t really have a campus, but the part of the city in which BU is located).

"I am down to Boston and Northeastern. Both seem equally good to me. "

Why ? Boston University is for people that could not get into Northeastern but still want to go to a private college.

^ Not too long ago it was seen as the opposite.

At his point, spend some time reading about the co-op experience on NEU’s webpages. It takes you longer to get your degree but you earn (usually good) money during your co-ops and get valuable on-the-job experience.
Also, post your dilemma on the NEU and BU forums - to get additional insight from current student and alum who might be lurking there. Also search this forum for Northeastern versus B.U. threads.
