Thanks for evaluating my chances everyone as It is greatly appreciated! I will be retaking the ACT in September. Also, For a school like BU which requires the Act with writing, will they only consider an ACT composite score that was obtained with a writing score on the same day or would they see the writing from another test and ignore it for the better composite (on a day that I did not take writing)?

I would say that you have great chances for BU, Lehigh, UMD, and Purdue. Bucknell and ND I’m not so sure, as those may be reaches for you because of your ACT scores. Still, you have a great GPA and ECs.

Could you also evaluate Northeastern and Villanova? Also it would be great if someone would rank all of my schools listed by best engineering program. Thanks!

Just wondering, do you go to school in Maryland?

It will all depend on the placement record of your school which you can see via naviance…

You are definitely in the mix, add in say 2 safeties and 2 reaches and you will have choices,

Yes, ryanordy88 I go to school in maryland

Also I am considering applying to Catholic University and George Washington/ American for my safeties…
On the ACT I got a 26 on reading both times so if I can raise that, I think a 32 should be very obtainable.

You have an extremely competitive academic record and a strong resume. You are missing an act score of 32+. You get that, I think you will be very very competitive. Also, with those stats, you should apply to Vanderbilt, Cornell, and Williams College. Great work!!
