what does invited to re apply as a transfer mean? guaranteed transfer as sophomore with good grades (like cornell does) or just try again next year?

rejected. 3.9 uw, 4.6 w, 1480 SAT, pretty solid essays (spent hours working on them), founder/president of one school club, plenty of other notable clubs, multiple writing internships, national merit comended, scholastic writing award

DS letter said guaranteed transfer fall 23 and accept by May 1, 2022 so pretty sure an invitation to transfer isnāt a guarantee
Look at the top of your portal. Itās not obvious like most decisions have been
so there are 2 transfer indications - 1) guaranteed and 2) invitiationā¦ok
