<p>I am thinking of applying for a PhD in IR at BU.</p>

<p>I have a BA (honours) with a high 2.1 (like a 3.5/4 equivalent) and an excellent Masters degree with Merit and a Distinction for my MA research project.</p>

<p>I have also interned in parliament, in the City of London and taught privately. In addition, I was a manager at a retail concern for 18 odd months between UG/PG. </p>

<p>Do I stand a chance at Boston U?</p>

<p>A lot rests on GRE scores, your statement of interest, and your letters - without a sense of those, it is impossible for anyone to evaluate your chances.</p>

<p>The latter 2 will be solid I am sure. GRE-I havent yet sat.</p>
